This page explains what the Dawn of the Dead Wiki (wiki.deadeyedotd.org) stores about you.

Reading

You can read this wiki without an account. It carries no advertising, analytics or tracking. The web server keeps standard access logs, including your IP address, for about two weeks to deal with abuse, and then deletes them.

Accounts

Creating an account stores your username and a securely hashed password. We do not ask for an email address. Your username is public.

Editing

Every edit you make is public and permanent in the page history, together with your username, and is published under the licence shown at the bottom of every page. For anti-abuse purposes the IP address an edit was made from is stored alongside it for up to 90 days; it is not shown publicly.

Cookies

When you log in, the wiki sets cookies that keep you logged in. They are not used for anything else.

Removal

To have your account renamed or your data removed, open a ticket in 📞｜support on our Discord (discord.gg/dawnpz). Content you contributed stays under its licence, but can be attributed to a renamed account.
